What does it mean to be

CONVERSATIONAL in Spanish?

From the Desk of Stacy Richter (CEO)

What does it mean to be conversational in Spanish for you?

Maybe you like to travel to Mexico, Costa Rica or some other beautiful place within Latin America. Although you have used some app and learned a few words, you would really rather be able to have a starter conversation with the locals and native Spanish speakers.

Maybe who have some relatives who speak Spanish and it’s time that you learned so you don’t feel left out at family dinners. Or you might be on the path of a career change and would love to take advantage of some opportunities that would open up if you started to learn to speak Spanish.

I’ll share with you what being conversational in Spanish means to me in just a moment, but first, let me ask you a few questions…

  • Do you feel like you have 90% of what you need to really learn to speak Spanish but just need that extra 10% to move the needle?

  • Do you want to have the confidence to approach a local native Spanish speaker for anything from asking for directions to getting a recommendation for a great restaurant?

  • You have been getting all of the progress badges through your Spanish app but do not feel any better at speaking Spanish?

  • Do you feel that your progress in speaking Spanish is stalled because you don’t have anyone to practice with?

  • Is the custom feedback and answers to your specific questions missing from you Spanish learning journey?

  • Are you feeling that learning Spanish is just work and wish you could skip everything in between and just know how to speak it?

  • Want a proven and effective methodology that will have you speaking Spanish like a native speaker AND have fun learning?

If You Answered “YES!” To Any Of The Questions Above, Then I Want To

Invite You To Join The 3-day Spanish Challenge And Become Conversational In Spanish

In 3 Days Or Less!

Day 1. You will need to a strong foundation in the basics. Laura is going to take you through the proper greetings, farewell and other advanced yet polite phrases.

Advanced grammar will help you to UNDERSTAND the language and not just memorizing it. Learn the vocabulary to express your feelings AND resolve problems in a restaurant setting.

Day 2. Is all about travel. It is the structure of all language and with Laura is actually fun to practice. The nouns and articles, along with their gender is a critical component of speaking Spanish.

Learn intermediate to advanced Spanish about how to discuss accomodations; while on vacation or for daily life. Use nouns and adjectives so you will sound like a native Spanish speaker.

Day 3. We get to use personal greetings AND responses that continue the conversation. Learn how to ask questions, respond in context and ask follow up questions in real life conversations.

You will get a chance to share personal information including what you like, how you feel and close the conversation with appropriate farewells.

Day 3. When you spend a lot of time traveling, becoming conversational with native Spanish speakers at the airport will ensure you NEVER have to suffer through the inconvenience of miscommunication about your flights that could cause MAJOR delays.

After focusing on conversations at the airport and all of the inconvenient experiences with delays, we will all be able to ask advanced questions and their responses in perfect, conversational Spanish.

Day 5. Shopping will now be fun again after you learn to become conversational in Spanish. Learn how to ask better questions about the size or color of that shirt you really want.

Imagine talking to the clerk about the artist who made that souvenir you just bought. Or even enjoy haggling a little AND be fully understood to get the best shopping experience.

Is 2025 the year you to get conversational in Spanish?

Before I took over as CEO at Live Lingua, I was using the same apps and doing the same exercises as most people trying to learn Spanish. Here’s what I found out after 1.5 years of practice:

• I wasn’t having much fun.

•I didn’t really know much Spanish

Now I am not only the CEO at Live Lingua, I am also a student. I am here working on my Spanish as much as you are. My personal goal is to become conversational in Spanish as well.

That’s why I am excited about this challenge.

During this 5-day challenge, we will be focusing on how to become conversational in speaking Spanish.

And after 5 days you will leave with a list of at least 5 fundamental skills that you will be able to use to start AND finish the most common conversations in Spanish.

Our Academic Director I will walk you through every step of the way on a series of Spanish classes….

1. We start with the basics including greetings and simple grammar…

2. Using basic grammar and vocabulary in cafes, restaurants, and bars…

3. Opening with personal greetings and closing with common farewells…

4. Concentrate on conversations in restaurants including asking and answering specific questions…

5.  Using Spanish conversations while shopping…

And it’s all done through a step-by-step road map tailored just for you.

So if you are ready to get focused, take action, and learn conversational Spanish – I want you to join us in our 5-day Spanish Challenge.

I am so excited to share this process with you…because I know the power and potential it has for you as well as the impact it can make in your Spanish journey.

Imagine what’s possible when we take you through dozens of years of programming in just 5 days and leave you ready to have a quality conversation in Spanish.

What would it mean to you to not only see this process…

But take powerful daily action over these 5 days with support from myself and our academic director?

Your Hosts

Laura Mendez

Academic Director

I've been a teacher for several years, and one of the most fulfilling aspects is not just witnessing my students' progress in knowledge, but knowing that they use the language in practical ways to achieve their aspirations - whether it's conversing with their Mexican relatives, traveling and understanding what's happening around them, building better relationships with clients, colleagues, or collaborators, and more.

As a team, our goal is to help our students reach their objectives. Simultaneously, we aim to teach in a friendly and approachable manner. In our classes, we'll delve into practical aspects of the language, covering everyday expressions to cultural nuances that make Spanish so unique. I'm here to guide you every step of the way, ensuring you enjoy every moment of the learning journey.

Let's work together to make your language-learning experience both enriching and enjoyable! Welcome to our Spanish learning adventure!

Stacy Richter

CEO

I am inspired by ordinary people accomplishing extraordinary things. Every person has their own hero story and I get inspired when that hero story gets its chance to shine. Not all heroes wear capes or save people from a burning building. Any step a person takes that makes the world just a little bit better makes them a hero. Volunteering some time, buying a coffee, and even just a well-timed smile with a hello can change someone’s day. That’s heroic.

That’s probably why I love what we do. Helping others to learn another language AND understand the culture gives them a chance to make a real connection that might not otherwise happen. That feeling that someone gets when they begin to understand Spanish, German, English or any other language is indescribable.

I know because I am not just the CEO, I am also a student.

Yoseline Hernandez

Spanish Tutor

Hola! My name is Yoselin, I'm a native Spanish speaker from Cartagena de Indias, in Colombia.

I have a degree in Linguistics and Literature from Universidad de Cartagena, and I'm certified teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language.

During my work experience we had a series of "tertulias" in which after reading and analyzing different study materials, we socialized and discussed the methodologies adopted over time for Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. This space was very important because we were able to ground the different theories in our context and analyze their usefulness in today's classroom.

In addition, during my undergraduate studies, I was instructed in each of the language's levels: syntactic, morphological, semantic and pragmatic; as an ELE teacher it is a fundamental basis because from there the comparisons between L1 and L2 are born, when this is possible; and very important: its knowledge allows to illustrate and simplify concepts of the Spanish language that a priori are complex.

Best value experience!

I began my studies with LiveLingua in November, and I couldn't be happier. I started with group conversation classes and loved then, but once I took the plunge and enrolled in the Unlimited private lesson program, my progress was incredible. Within weeks, teachers I'd had group classes with noticed the difference. I now have the resources to duplicate an immersion program at a fraction of the price! And the technical aspects are so easy, even I can schedule, cancel and join classes with ease and confidence!. Thank you, LiveLingua!!

Wonderful Communication

The best aspect of this company is their communication. They are consistently in contact and following up. The price is very affordable. I have had a wonderful experience with my teacher. My wife has tried different teachers, and the transition process was very simple. Very great method of learning Spanish!
